FIT Remote Labs + Duo

FIT Remote Labs powered by Leostream, coupled with Duo for two-factor authentication, is an easy-to-use and fully secure method to access educational software that would otherwise be “trapped” on campus.

Whether you have a Windows, Mac, or Chromebook at home, FIT Remote Labs allows a fast connection to your “trapped software.” All you will need is a reliable Internet connection, a web browser (like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari), and a secured login. Once connected to your assigned classroom or specialty lab, you are virtually sitting at that computer, in that now “virtual” classroom, on campus.

Software Available through FIT Remote Labs

With FIT Remote Labs, students and faculty will be able to access software that would otherwise be unavailable from a remote location.

Known Errors

We are aware of the following issues and are working to resolve:

  • Wacom tablet pen sensitivity (line thickness is not always responding to pressure accurately enough)
  • When connected to a Mac computer you may notice it can take a few seconds before the cursor responds or your typing of text appears, and video playback may be delayed
