Please note, of the previous instruction did not log out you will need to perform a hard reboot by holding down the power button until the computer shuts off, wait ten seconds, then pressing the power button again.
Turn on the projector using wall panel Press the power button firmly once (listen for audible beep) then wait for the projector to warm up and illuminate. (Note: if wall panel does not work check near computer for a remote. A remote may be left for use for the projector while a wall panel is being repaired).
Tech Tip: Do not press buttons in quick succession. The projector lamp produces a lot of heat and takes time to turn on and off.
1. Press the Windows key and P on the keyboard. The Project side panel will appear with the display options. 2. Select your display preference. Display options (the list below is in order of most frequently selected not how they are displayed on the side panel)
Duplicate: will project what is on your computer screen to the projector screen.
Extend: will allow the projector screen to act as a second monitor. This means different applications can be opened on the computer screen and the projector screen. You will need to drag items over to the projector screen for them to display to the audience.
PC Screen only: Display only on the computer screen
Second Screen only: Display only on the projector
Mac Computer 1. Press Command key and F1 on the keyboard. 2. Repeat to toggle to additional display preferences until the display matches your desired outcome. Display options
Mirror: will project what is on your computer screen to the projector screen.
Extend Desktop: will allow the projector screen to act as a second monitor. This means different applications can be opened on the computer screen and the projector screen. You will need to drag items over to the projector screen for them to display to the audience.
Turn off the projector using wall panel Press power button firmly (listen for audible beep). On The projector screen, it will ask you if you’re sure you want to power off, press the power button on the wall panel again to confirm power off.
Log off or restart the computer Do not shut down the computer
