How to sign in to FIT email and other Google Workspace Applications
Instructions
1. Go to Google or Google Workspace Application Click Sign in
Go to www.google.com or you can go directly to the app you wish to access; gmail.com, sheets.google.com, docs.google.com, etc.
2. Click on the “Sign in” button
Click on the “Sign in” button in the upper right corner.
If you do not see the “Sign in” button then you may already be signed in with another Gmail account; follow the How to log in to more than one Gmail account instructions or sign out of that account and sign back in with your FIT account.
3. Enter your FIT email address
Type your FIT email address, you must type the entire email address not just your username.
Click on the “Next” button.
4. Enter your FIT password
Type your FIT password. You may check the box next to “Show password” display your password to confirm you are entering it correctly.
Click on the “Next” button.
5. Verify your Idenity
Beginning Spring 2025, FIT will be transitioning from Google 2-Step Verification also called 2FA to Microsoft’s Multi-Factor Authentication system. This change strengthens our security posture while providing you with additional features.
We’re implementing a phased approach to this transition: You’ll receive notification before your transition date to know if you which method you will use.
6. Access all Google Workspace applications
You will now be signed in and you can begin working. Additionally, you may open the Apps launcher by clicking the grid of nine little dots in the top-right corner of most Google pages near your profile photo to navigate to additional Google Workspace applications.
