FIT’s 2025 Cybersecurity Training

Stay vigilant online! FIT’s 2025 Cybersecurity Training is now live!
 
This training equips our employees with essential cyber security training to identify and combat threats and protect personal and institutional data. This mandatory training for faculty and staff is updated annually and is available through our vendor, Knowbe4. The training is 30 minutes long, and you can stop and start it as often as you need until it is completed.
 
Please read the email below sent via General Announcements from Cynthia Glass, Vice President of Human Resource Management and Labor Relations, and Roberta Elins, President UCE of FIT, regarding taking this training during your workday and about adjunct classroom faculty and part-time classroom assistants being compensated for completing this training. Please note that this training is referred to on page 4 of FIT’s Information Security Policy.

    You will receive an email from the Cybersafe email account with the subject line “Welcome to your FIT Mandatory Cybersecurity Training 2025,”  inviting you to take the Annual Cybersecurity Training for 2025. We write to encourage the FIT community members to learn more about protecting personal and campus information by completing the training offered by the Division of Information Technology. The training is one interactive video module that takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. The link to the training will be found in the email from [email protected].

     

    This online training is considered college business and should be completed during regular working hours. Adjunct classroom faculty and part-time classroom assistants who complete the training will be compensated at one half their hourly rate.

     

    You will receive the invitation in the coming weeks and the training will be available until the end of July 2025.
