On Wednesday, May 23, our cable TV provider, RCN, will be on campus to update our cable system, while they perform this work we will experience a brief cable TV outage. Additionally, as part of these upgrades, we will be switched over to RCN’s current channel lineup. A full list of channels available at FIT can be found at it.fitnyc.edu/2017/07/24/tv-channel-guide.
If you are connected to FIT’s cable TV you may need to perform a channel scan or channel search on Wednesday, May 23, to capture all the available channels after the upgrade is complete. Using your TV remote, select “Menu” and navigate to “Channel Setup,” “Channel Search,” or “Channel Scan.” Please refer to your TV manual for step-by-step instructions. Note: Running a channel scan is not the same as pressing “Channel UP/DOWN” on your remote.
