The tabs that appear when you log into MyFIT are dependent on your role at FIT. Please review the explanations below to find the correct resolution.
Your Student Tab will automatically appear 48 business hours after the following has been completed.
- You have been accepted to FIT
- You have paid your tuition deposit
- Your tuition deposit has been processed by the Office of the Bursar. Deposits are processed within 24 hours; if received during business hours.

The following tabs will appear based on your role at FIT:
- High School (Pre-College)
- Employee – (Faculty & Staff)
*An employee receives a paycheck from FIT; Resident Assistants, Leadership Ambassadors, Orientation Leaders, Student Monitors, Tutors and other Student employees may receive an Employee tab.
You can have more than one role at FIT; therefore, you may have more than one role tab.
Example: You work and take classes at FIT then you will have a Student and an Employee tab.
Student employees NOT registered for the CURRENT semester will NOT have a STUDENT TAB.
Example: If you are a student employee (RA, Leadership Ambassador, Tutor, etc.) and it is the Winter Semester but you are not registered for a class until the Spring Semester, then you will only have the Employee Tab, you will NOT have a Student tab because you are not registered for the Winter Semester. The Student tab will reappear shortly before the Spring begins.
You can still access bill payment, grades, housing application and other information via the Employee Tab and click on Online Information System.
